CAPABILITIES
Daylighting
Utility installation, repair, excavation, and specifically directional drilling comes with the hazard of hitting existing utilities. Using our hydro vacs is the quickest, safest way to daylight utilities. Our trucks come equipped with an EM wand to assist in locating tricky underground lines.
Remote Digging
Our vacuum trucks are top of the line. They come with enough power to suck up slurry from up to 200 feet away. Helpful for those tough to reach areas.
Emergency Storm Restoration
We have worked with journeyman lineman since the start of Kelley Bros. Utility. Our services help speed up the process of digging telephone pole holes, moving lines underground, and safely move through the general restoration process quickly.
Road Cuts/Repair
If utilities that must be found are under the road, we have the capability to perform small/medium road cuts above the utility before hydro excavating the rest of the area. Then we can repair those same cuts.
Trenching
Hydro Excavation is used to create precise trenches for installing utilities. The technique allows for very narrow trenches, also known as slot trenches.
Cold Weather Digging
Our trucks come equipped with an industrial water heater. The hot water allows frozen ground to be thawed, turned to slurry, and vacuumed away.
Foundation Work
Hydro Excavation is effective at digging around existing foundations for inspections or repairs, without causing additional damage. Hydro Excavation is also an option for post hole digging for pilings. It ensures accuracy with minimum disturbance to the area.
Environment and Archaeology
Hydro Excavation can be used to remove contaminated soil or materials with minimum disturbance. We can shape terrain and dig around roots without damaging the tree. Helpful for assessing root health. On archaeological digs where precision and avoiding damage is essential, we can turn our water PSI down.
Backfill
After creating the most precise hole you have ever seen, we are willing and able to backfill our beautiful excavation. Our support trucks and dump trailers can transport materials to the site.

ABOUT
Founded by brothers Jack and Wyatt Kelley, Kelley Brothers Drilling LLC began as a shared vision to combine their complementary skills and experience into a family-owned enterprise. Jack, a blue-collar man since birth, has years of experience working on utilities. He has done everything from operate drills, to hydro-vacs, to serving in the US Marine Corp. His hands-on knowledge and willingness to stay until the job is finished, sets him apart from the competition. Wyatt started working on drilling and hydro excavation crews in high school. He branched off and started his first business at the University of Kentucky, where he worked in Investments and Insurance and graduated with a BS in finance. His analytical approach and logic-driven decision making helps the brothers run a clean and tight operation. The brothers grew up working alongside each other, and to this day, are an immediate difference maker on any project. Their combined experience and crew of experts bring a level of precision and hustle not often seen in the industry. Kelley Bros. Drilling LLC is a family owned and operated IBEW underground contractor specializing in hydro excavation. Raised in, and based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, but work all over Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and surrounding areas.
